1.4462 Powder for Additive Manufacturing
A duplex stainless steel that provides greater resistance to stress corrosion cracking (SCC), pitting, and crevice corrosion than standard austenitic stainless steels (e.g., 316L). Additionally, it offers good weldability, high fatigue strength, and superior mechanical properties compared to conventional stainless steels. Due to its excellent resistance to seawater and industrial chemicals, 1.4462 is widely used in marine, chemical, and offshore applications.
